Gotti
Connie
Updates
Well, two days in a row! As you can see I have been working on the website! With all that has been going on in my family it is a welcome relief!
I think I am pretty much done for now. The main stuff is done. I have plans to add pages for Connie and Gotti. Connie is the Grand-dame around the house. She is the mother of my first Charlie Shrek. Shrek was with me much too short of time and I miss him dearly. Shrek was the sire of Fiona and Skylar, so he pretty much is behind most everything here, meaning Connie is too. We adore the old gal and are glad she deemed us worthy enough to retire here. I am ashamed I never took any photos of Shrek. I kept thinking there would be time... I am not sure that any Charlie could feel his footsteps, he was a gorgeous, goofy boy! His ashes also apparently went to someone else. What they gave me appear to be the ashes of a German Shepherd Dog or something bigger. So, I keep them and treat them with honor, hoping whoever has my Shrek-Angel's ashes will honor his!
Gotti is the token long-nosed Charlie around here. He is our tri-colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and we enjoy him immensely. It is so fun to watch him play fetch with Cooper. Who knew Cavaliers were so fast?
If anyone is interested, or even reads this, I have two lovely young girls who are available for placement. Many have asked but I have yet to find the right home. I adore them and want only the best for them! Feel free to contact me if you think you can provide them with all the love in the world!
Till next time...

another year...
It seems like I update things here about once a year, but between dogs, clubs, work and family I don't get much free time...
It was rough getting over Diesel's early exit from our life, and I felt much guilt about not being able to save him. I feel responsible for his tragic life and regret his initial placement with family. Sometimes things are harder to deal with when they happen within the family.
Shortly after Diesel's passing we moved to Norwich, but ended up moving to Lisbon, CT a few short months later. The dogs and I are hoping we are finished moving! It was stressful, but in the middle of the bouncing around we had an unexpected delivery, 10 days early! Last Labor Day Daria decided she was done with being pregnant and unannounced delivered two puppies in the dog room. No scratching, no whimpering, no warning. I walked into the room to find two little black and tan "mice". One little girl adn one little boy. The boy, as seems to happen here, didn't make it, but Amicus Norma Rae is alive and well. We call her Pickle and she is a hoot and a half! She has gone to live with our dear friend Jen and her 5 kids, so Pickle is always on the go! We co-own Pickle and I am sure she will be out and about in the show ring as we wait for her to grow up and see how she develops!
February brought not only the move to Lisbon, but also our dear Murphy's illness. I had just returned from the vet's office when I found him in shock. We rushed him to emergency and they discovered a ruptured spleen. After having that removed we got the awful diagnosis of hemangiosarcoma. Murphy has finished IV chemo and will start an oral form this week. he appears to be in remission which is a rare feat with this horrible cancer, but he has always been a fighter.
Our local ETS club is moving right along and hopefully will gain recognition this summer from AKC. It keeps me busy!
Hopefully I will update this more regularly, but feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
Also, I don't always list dogs that are available for placement, but contact me is you are interested in anything. If I don't have it I may know someone who does!
