Cardiac Screening
Yesterday we loaded up the truck and... went to the Trap Falls Kennel Club Cardiac Clinic. 7 of the 8 dogs passed with no problems. One we will do an echo to see what is going on, and maybe remove from our breeding program. At Amicus we don't breed dogs with bad hearts! No matter how pretty they may be!

Return to Shows
Yesterday was my first foray into showing after a personally difficult summer.
We had 4 different breeder/exhibitors in West Springfield yesterday at the Troy KC show.
David Kirkland Judged English Toy Spaniels.
In KC&R variety we brought Best of Breed with Skylar and WB/BOS with Leea for a 4 point major.
Congratulations to Marilyn Tuesley on going BOW with her lovely ruby boy Marsward Mastercard. Also to Kathy Dullinger, who went Reserve Winners Bitch with a young girl!
In B&PC Dale Cunningham went BOW for 2 points with Kenjockety Marsward Abode. Back when I was handling I finished Bode's littermates Nathan and Isobel, owned by their breeder Vanessa Weber.
Our only broken colored ETS is Daria. This weekend she got her head together and went WB/BOS for 2 points! Ms. Weber's "Hillary" was Reserve.
